Honor 10X Lite is a budget mobile in the middle segment that was launched in October 2020 and is an upgrade of Honor 9X Lite.
The
mobile phone usually has a large display with fairly thin frames and it
feels well-constructed with a plastic back that can easily be mistaken
for glass. The rounded edges around the phone are also made of plastic.
In
the middle of the upper edge of the large display is a round hole for
the selfie camera and on the back of a rectangular camera module are
four more camera lenses.
In terms of design,
one would not think that the Honor 10X is a cheap budget mobile in the
middle segment because it is robust, relatively large, and heavy. There
is nothing unique about the look of this mobile, but it looks like many
other mobile phones out there, but if you are looking for a new
smartphone among all categories other than the top mobiles, you rarely
get anything unique.
The mobile phone has a fingerprint reader which is located on the right long side of the phone in the Power Button.
A
USB type C port and a headphone jack are located at the bottom of the
mobile phone and right next to it is a downward-facing speaker. The
position of the loudspeaker means that there is a risk of accidentally
covering it with your fingers when using the mobile phone in landscape
mode. For example, when watching streaming movies or playing mobile
games.
The display is a 6.7 inch LCD display
with an aspect ratio is 20: 9 and the display have 1080 × 2400 pixels
and a pixel density of 395 PPI (pixels per inch). The sharpness is thus
good.
The blacks and thus the contrasts are within the approved even though the colors are not the strongest.
The processor is an eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor at 2 GHz. The RAM is 4 GB and the internal memory is 128 GB.
In
terms of overall performance, it turns out that the phone works great
without any problems. Opening applications is easy and playing mobile
games also helps when playing more technically demanding mobile games.
However, this is not a flagship mobile so do not expect top performance.
The
front camera lens is only 8 Megapixels (wide-angle lens) and on the
back are four camera lenses of 48 Megapixels (wide-angle lens), 8
Megapixels (ultra-wide-angle lens), a Macro lens of 2 Megapixels, and a
depth sensor of 2 Megapixels. The cameras have PDAF and LED flash.
Overall,
it is clear that the cameras are designed to take easier snapshots to
upload to social media. You should not study the images in detail
because then you will notice inaccuracies in sharpness and contrast.
The
battery is 5000 mAh and is thus often larger than those in the closest
competitors. This is one of the benefits of the Honor 10X Lite. The
battery also has support for fast charging of 22.5W and the combination
of a large battery and fast charging is a practical combination well
worth keeping an eye on when looking for a new smartphone.
The
operating system is Android, but it is the so-called open-source
version and not the licensed version that most other mobile
manufacturers use in their mobile phones. We probably all know by now
why Honor has chosen to use that version instead.
The
biggest problem with the Honor 10X Lite and with all current Huawei /
Honor smartphones is the lack of access to the official version of the
Android operating system and its Google Mobile Services (GMS). This
loses easy access to Gmail, Google Drive, Chrome, and most importantly
Google Play. Huawei's alternative solution Huawei Mobile Services (HMS),
which runs on Honor 10X Lite, offers nothing that comes close to what
Google can achieve.
Most problems that arise
are after some work possible to get around, but if you instead order a
smartphone that is not blacklisted, you will not get any problems at
all.
Females 10X Lite is sold by CDON and the price tag is Rs. 25990/-.
